I met with a dietician awhile ago, and am now meeting with her again.
I can’t say I was giving it my all back then, because I likely wasn’t.
One of the differences between now and then, is that now I am tracking all of my foods. Regardless of what and how much.
I am still in the motivation phase, and I know that that won’t last forever, so I am working towards developing good dietary habits now.
By adopting better eating and tracking habits, I can overcome my obesity. At least that’s the goal.
It’s a long road losing and keeping weight off. And, I am doing my damnedest to develop those great dietary habits today.
I’m not BMI obese, but am metabolically obese, aka “skinny fat”. I’m trying to make small changes to my diet and life, bit by bit. While this is a fitness site, it has a lot of useful stuff about habit change: https://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/how-to-build-healthy-habits-that-stick/
