How do I achieve happiness?
I’ve been working hard at identifying my perfectionistic tendencies.
I’ve learned that I have quite a few of them.
I engage in a lifestyle that makes me think happiness is synonymous with perfection.
It may take time before things get better.
I relate to what you have written in regard to happiness being related to perfection. Being a perfectionist can make so many tasks extremely hard. Great poem!

Happiness seems like it’s most likely to happen when the idea of perfection isn’t part of the picture.

I know what you’re saying. I see it both ways unfortunately.

I can sympathize (as I pause, wondering if that is the perfect word? It’s not.) to this. I am at a similar point in my life. Thank you.

I struggle with perfectionism too. It’s certainly the opposite of happiness. I’ve pretty well put my life on hold because of it 🙁

I can see where it can be harmful. I sometimes feel awful thinking too much about it. It’s quite difficult to resolve as well.
